What it treats
- Uneven skin texture and a rough or tired-looking surface
- Dullness and a wish for fresher-looking tone
- Fine lines and early signs of skin ageing
- The look of under-eye shadows and crepiness
- Skin that would benefit from a gentler, blood-derived approach
- Concerns across melanin-rich and South Asian skin, where a measured method matters
Who it’s for
This is for you if you would like to refresh your skin using something that comes entirely from you. Platelet-rich plasma is drawn from a small sample of your own blood, so nothing foreign is introduced. It suits people who prefer a considered, natural approach and who are comfortable with a short recovery of mild redness. Melanin-rich and South Asian skin are a particular focus here, and every tone is welcome. If you are unsure whether the Vampire Facial or PRP on its own is the better fit, Annoshia will talk it through with you at your consultation.
From first call to results.
Consultation
Your visit begins with a conversation about your skin and your goals. Annoshia, a Registered Practical Nurse working under a physician's medical directive, will explain how PRP is drawn and used, confirm the approach that suits you, and answer any questions before anything begins.
Treatment
A small sample of your blood is drawn, much like routine bloodwork, then spun to concentrate the platelets. After numbing, the plasma is reintroduced to the skin. With the Vampire Facial it follows microneedling across the face, and with Face or Under-Eye PRP it is placed into the treatment area. Plan for about 60 minutes.
Aftercare
You can expect mild redness and pinpoint marks for roughly 24 to 48 hours. Annoshia will share simple guidance on keeping the skin clean, calm, and protected while it settles, along with what to avoid in the first day or two.
Results
The skin often looks refreshed as it recovers over the following days. Because PRP works with your own biology, changes are gradual rather than immediate, and a course of sessions is commonly suggested. Annoshia will outline a realistic plan for your skin.
Asked, and answered.
What is a Vampire Facial?
It combines microneedling with platelet-rich plasma, or PRP. PRP is prepared from a small sample of your own blood, spun to concentrate the platelets. The plasma is then reintroduced to the skin after microneedling. The name simply refers to the use of your own blood.
Where does the PRP come from?
From you. A small sample of your blood is drawn, much like routine bloodwork, and spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets. That concentrate is what is reintroduced to your skin, so nothing foreign is being introduced.
How long does the appointment take and does it hurt?
Plan for about 60 minutes, which includes the blood draw and preparation. A numbing step is used for comfort during the treatment. The blood draw itself feels much like any routine bloodwork.
What is the difference between the Vampire Facial and PRP on its own?
The Vampire Facial pairs microneedling with PRP across the face and starts from $650. Face PRP reintroduces plasma to refresh the look and feel of your skin from $665, while Under-Eye PRP focuses on the delicate under-eye area to soften the look of shadows and crepiness from $425. Annoshia can help you choose at your consultation.
What should I expect afterward?
Mild redness and small pinpoint marks are common for about 24 to 48 hours as the skin settles. You will receive simple aftercare guidance. Because PRP works gradually with your own biology, a series of sessions is often suggested rather than relying on a single visit.
